The Lewis County Regional Port Authority was established February 1, 1990 as a political subdivision of the State of Missouri to foster the growth of industry on the Mississippi River. The Lewis County Regional Port Authority is governed by a nine member Board of Commissioners.

Fleeting is provided by Canton Marine Towing.
Real Estate and financial assistance is available through the Industrial Development Authority of Lewis County. Lewis County is an Enhanced Enterprise Zone.
